Back in November a number of Managers, coaches and parents produced a report expressing concerns about the progress of girls' cricket in Middlesex. The Middlesex Women's committee have produced a response, but more importantly have arranged a meeting on Thursday 22nd January 2004 in the MCC Pavilion, Lords Cricket Ground from 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. Please note that there is a strict dress code for the pavilion, Gentlemen should wear a shirt and tie, Ladies, tailored trousers or skirts (no jeans, tracksuits or training shoes). Members of the Middlesex Women's Cricket Committee will be there as well as David Holland from the Middlesex Cricket Board and all will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you have any detailed technical questions which you would like a response to, it would be appreciated if you could send them in advance of the meeting so that a full answer can be given on the night. Please send the questions to Lorraine Poole, The Middlesex Academy, East End Road, London N3 2TA.
Both reports are published here along with the invitational letter sent to all on the circulation list. There are also comments from Toby Radford about the Middlesex Academy.
All interested persons are very welcome to attend this meeting.1) Report from Middlesex Managers, Coaches and Parents on Girls' Cricket in Middlesex
